Getting enough REM to have a head full of dreams?

This article is by Whitecalm Retreats, my retreat partner, and looks at the relationship between sleep and dreams.

Sleep plays a huge role in supporting our mental and physical and social wellbeing with sleep deprivation having an impact on our minds, bodies and moods, its crucial that we are all gettqing the best nights sleep we can get.

In order to maintain proper function and health we require the full spectrum of the sleep pattern, and many things can affect the quality of the sleep we get each night.

Sleep patterns can be affected by many things including age, the amount of recent sleep or wakefulness, the time of day or night relative to your genetics and your individual body clock, exercise, stress, environmental conditions.

Its easy for your sleep patterns to get disrupted, repeatedly missing a night’s sleep, an irregular sleep schedule, or disturbance of sleep can result in a redistribution of your sleep stages, meaning you may be missing out on some of the crucial elements that sleep provides your body.

How many of us have woken to a dream and wondered was there a meaning, or message in the dream for us to consider, was it answering something we’ve been trying to solve. If we just jump out of bed and don’t give the dream any thought and consideration have, we missed an opportunity to develop and grow.

Want to know more about your dreams and how to manifest the life you want to live – see the White Calm Retreat hosted by Sheila Balgobin.

Follow your dreams, they know the way.

What does the course involve?

This interactive course will provide tools and techniques to help you to:
  1.   Sleep better; and
  2.   Develop skills to interpret and use your dreams

The DREAM YOUR LIFE/LIVE YOUR DREAM course teaches you techniques and gives you simple tools to be able to "find the gold in the gobbledgygook" of your dreams.

Instead of scratching your head and wondering if that dream was just the result of a  dodgy dinner, why not find out?

In just 3 SIMPLE STEPS, the DARE TO DREAM DELIVERY SYSTEM will show you how to:
  • Manifest
  • Remember
  • Interpret

your dreams.  You may have noticed that the three sections form the acronym M-R-I - but instead of taking an in depth look at your body, you will be taking a look at what your unconscious mind has to tell you!

We spend up to 1/3 of our lives asleep -- not only are we resting and repairing, but also planning and reacting to our environment...dreams are a way to tap into that problem solving and creative ability of the vast sea that is the unconscious mind.

What are YOU missing out on by not listening to what your unconscious has to tell you?
